Marcella’s writing career is constantly evolving and expanding as she continuously works freelance for both local and global companies. Writing has always been her greatest passion and will always be her greatest weapon in this ever-changing and digitally savvy world.

She recently worked as Content Writer for the Marketing Department of a data management and technology company known for delivering Sustainable Business Solutions to its clients. Here, she was tasked to create a variety of content on Sustainable Development, Knowledge Management, Public-Private Partnerships, the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and Health Information Management.

Her job description also entailed her to deliver ad hoc tasks required by the Marketing Communications Manager, Research and Content Manager, and the AVP for Marketing.

Apart from catering to the B2B market through her writing, she also works as “writer-at-large” for Giron Botanic, a botanical garden, and arts and culture hub owned by her family, located in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.

Her formative years were spent at the prestigious Philippine Montessori Center and Saint Paul College, Pasig, for preschool and secondary education respectively. In college, she took up AB-Arts Management at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), where she eventually discovered her love for arts and events management, theatre production and scriptwriting.

Her major writing achievements include writing and directing two full-length plays staged at her alma mater, one entitled “Love, Pain and Everything in Between,” a loose adaptation of three Star Cinema films – One More Chance, My Amnesia Girl and No Other Woman; the second was entitled “Definire”, a ballroom musical that tackled the five stages of grief.

Since 2010, Marcella has landed a number of jobs in various industries such as customer service, real estate and multi-level marketing. Despite that, she always comes back to what she knows and does best – writing.
